THE GOOD FATHER PRAYER

FATHER GOD in the name of the LORD JESUS,

we come before YOU this day with humble hearts,

and we just want to say thank YOU.

Thank YOU so much for waking us up this morning,

and watching over us all night long,

for starting us off to see a new beautiful day we never seen before.

FATHER we thank YOU;

we thank YOU LORD;

we praise YOU,

we honor YOU,

we glorify YOU,

we give YOU all the thanks and praises,

‘cause YOU and YOU alone the only ONE I know

that’s worthy to be praised.

LORD I honor YOU today,

and I glorify YOUR HOLY NAME.

Bless everybody, everywhere, is my prayer.

Bless the service today LORD.

Let something be said and done that’s going to help us to go on up the KING’s highway, 

serving YOU and doing what’s right.

Blessing us to have a light to shine

so somebody see CHRIST in us 

and YOU get the glory.

FATHER GOD YOU’re so good,

YOU’re so good and YOU’re worthy to be praised. 

LORD we need YOU down here in these days and these times.

It’s some troubled times LORD.

Well I know YOU know.

‘cause LORD YOU sit high and look low 

and YOU know what’s going on.

So LORD bless YOUR people.

We are YOUR people.

We’re the sheep of YOUR pasture,

and without YOU we can’t do nothing;

so LORD bless YOUR people.

LORD let YOUR mercy abide all over the land and country,

show the people that YOU love them,

and without YOU they can’t do nothing.

LORD just have YOUR way and let THY will be done,

Like I said, bless the service - 

let something be said and done that’s going to help us all today.

And LORD bless us all to love one another,

and let love abide in the world 

so people see love and joy and peace and happiness abiding,

because so much trouble going on, we see that - 

so LORD let us see YOUR love and YOUR mercy and YOUR peace,

and let the people of GOD show JESUS, 

LORD ‘cause we see enough of this trouble in the world,

LORD the love and the kindness and the mercy the goodness need to be shown,

so let us all live so YOU can use and get the glory out of our life.

Thank YOU for everything.
