Philippians Guidance for Brethren

Chapter 1

...that our love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment.

...approving things that are excellent; being sincere and without offense.

...filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by JESUS CHRIST, unto the glory and praise of GOD. 

So that our bonds in CHRIST are manifest...in all places. Boldly to speaking the Word without fear. ...preaching CHRIST...of love. That with all boldness....CHRIST shall be magnified…whether it be by life, or by death....to live is CHRIST, and to die is gain. 

...standing fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.

In nothing terrified by adversaries...believing on HIM but also suffering for HIS sake.

Chapter 2

...being likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Letting nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind letting each esteem other better than themselves. Looking not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others....of no reputation...the form of a servant…humbled…obedient unto death.

…working out our own salvation with fear and trembling.

GOD working in us both to will and to do of HIS good pleasure. Doing all things without murmurings and disputing.

Being blameless and harmless, sons of GOD, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, shining as lights in the world. Holding forth the word of life.

With joy and rejoicing…trusting in the LORD JESUS.

Seeking the things which are JESUS CHRIST’s.

Chapter 3

Rejoicing in the LORD.

Being aware of dogs/evil workers.

Worshiping GOD in spirit. Rejoicing in CHRIST JESUS.

Having no confidence in the flesh.

Suffering the loss of all things - winning CHRIST JESUS.

knowing CHRIST - HIS power, HIS sufferings.

Following after perfection. Pressing toward the high calling of GOD in CHRIST JESUS.

Chapter 4

Standing fast in the LORD. Rejoicing in the LORD.

Letting our moderation be known to all men.

In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving.

Keeping our hearts and minds by the Peace of GOD through CHRIST JESUS.

Thinking on true, pure, lovely, good, virtuous, praiseworthy things

Doing all CHRIST commanded; having the GOD of Peace with us.

Always being content.

Doing all things through CHRIST which strengthens us.

GOD supplying all our needs by CHRIST JESUS.

Saluting every saint in CHRIST JESUS.
